This will be my 1st ever Blog Giveaway! I'm so excited. Here is how it works. Just leave a comment telling me your favorite Christmas tradition. I will put your names in a hat and pull one out! If your name is drawn I will mail off my 1st batch of His Creation Cards to you. My giveaway ends tomorrow at noon. (that way I can get them in the mail right away.) I can't wait to hear from you.

My favorite Christmas tradition growing up was putting our shoes out on the windowsill (for Kris Kindle)and finding a little treat hiding in them the next morning.
hi connie! Its hard to pick just one...but I LOVE to ride around with the family drinking hot cocoa and looking at Christmas lights while listening to Christmas music! "oh! Look at that one!".."no!..Look over here!"...Love the excitement it brings.
Hi Connie,
I'm visiting from Kim's blog.
My favorite tradition started when I was just a little girl and we continue it to this day. My dad, a pastor, compiled the Christmas story from all the gosples and typed the verses out. This was back when people used typewriters and carbon paper to make multiple copies. Do you know what carbon paper is? :)
On Christmas morning, before any gifts, we circled around in the living room and we took terns reading the story from his copies "round robin". It was neat that we all got to take turns reading. It kept the kids alert and focus on the word and not on the presents. After we read, my dad would ask us what we were thankful for or what gift we wanted to give to Jesus. Then, we spent time in prayer...my dad lead out and then anyone who wished to pray could.
My dad has been with Jesus for 13 years but we carry this tradition on when we all get together (with mom )as a family at Christmas (in my home, we do this every year and my girls are grown, married but no children yet).
Merry Christmas!
