Europe Day 10 Friday, October 22nd, 2010/Den Haag

Our last day in Europe together and we have to decide where to go. After closing our eyes and pointing on a map, we chose Rotterdam, but that turned out to be more that we planned on spending to travel there, so Den Haag was the 2nd choice.
Den Haag city center.

Turns out this is where the Royals are.

Cute bridal shop. High-end I am sure.
It was a chilly day so we stopped off at a D&E coffee shop.
YUMMMYYYY!
I wanted to take this sweet place home with me.
Loved the coffee and the brownie.
It was delicious.
My handsome husband.
Such a cute cake shop. This one is for you, Tori girl.
I wish I could share the wonderful smell from this place.
Bought these fresh for a souvenir for the kids.
They had these crazy statues all in a row.
I thought this looked like Mickey Mouses legs.
The other ones were a little crazy and
could be misinterpreted so I left those out.
The Library
Fun building of mirrored window.
Kissing in Europe:)
This was an exhibit to raise awareness for trafficking.
It was pretty powerful and absolutely heart-breaking.
This is a free public rest room. Yes, people really do use them.
I waited until it was open to take the photo.
My man and me, loving the stroll in Den Haag.

YUMMY PIZZA!

Yes, we ate all of our desert.
Today was my last day in Europe and it is bittersweet. I'm longing for a sight and hugs from my precious children, but will be leaving my husband behind. I loved our day in Den Haag. We walked a lot and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It was a wonderful trip and I am so glad I got to experience it with my wonderful husband. Tomorrow I will officially say goodbye to Europe and spend the day in airports as I journey home. It will be the first time I ever fly alone. Thanks Den Haag for the wonderful memories of my last day in Europe.
